Architectural symposium poster
Through the influence of Josef-Muller Brockmann and Armin Hofmann I have retained a strict grid system in order to reflect an architectural structure to my composition. I have used the futura typeface as I believe I have been influenced by the modernist style and I think it sits well with the various shapes, in return giving the design a sense of balance. I particularly like how the negative space around the text separates it up from the image dividing the two, however still in keeping with the grid system.
